Changing the narrative for the North End community.​

Garden and Highland Community Block Club is a not for profit grassroots organization located in the North End of Niagara Falls, NY. Our organization will  help to assist with transforming a despaired community into a thriving community. The block club is here to serve. We bring awareness of opportunities beyond our neighborhoods Be a part of a changing narrative. 




Strengthening our Community

A strong community learning to connect with neighbors to improve one block at a time. Inspiring and helping one another. Providing opportunities for growth. 

The Block Club cares about the safety, and well-being of our neighbors.


Our first block club party and the city of Niagara Falls honored a former resident Mr. Jabril Shareef.

Working to make our community a better place. Helps to improve the physical landscape of the community.  Ensure the safety of residents, Having a strong voice will change things. Join the block club to address concerns.

Neighborhood Crime Watch

Each day someone has experienced some sort of crime and the fear of crime, is threatening communities. To reduce the risk of becoming a victim is by watching and reporting suspicious activities. Get to know your neighbors. We all should feel safe and secure in our communities. 

Education & Resources 

As we educate ourselves on what is going on in our neighborhood, we will be better informed on what we should and should not do. Such as learning to be prepared for a disaster, garbage dumping, uncut grass, overgrown trees, or crime. You will know who to call when there is a problem in the community.

Community Engagement 

Is working together to build a community and sustainability for the concerns of crime. We should have a sense of safety. By strengthening our community and identifying our neighborhood needs by responding with outreaches, meetings, events, activities and networking.  

Collaborating with local organizations 

Working to keep the community safe

Defeating the barriers that are necessary to have a safe environment.

By working with law enforcement and the fire departments

By working together to take a bite out of crime.

Resources 

During our monthly meeting we providing resource on family activities in the city, jobs/business opportunities, healthy foods, home improvement programs, back to school programs. apprenticeship programs, city schedules for meetings, grants, vaccine shoots, and more.
